Nowhere else to start than with the suggestion that Ade could be sold for €30m plus €10m-rated Samuel Eto'o. Haven't heard anything so funny in a bit. If Ade is not the most over-rated dude ever, I don't know who is. I must say Le Boss and the board at Arse have created the ultimate luxury good. Hat's off to them for some unprecedented marketing work. Jack up the price for a piece of shit, don't move, let him whine, and watch his value sky rocket from nothing. Simply hilarious. If this were not a total piece of goal.com fiction, I'd burst a blood vessel just shouting at Le Boss to take it. With news that AC Milan are slightly tired of Ade, and that they're on the verge of signing Ronaldinho, I suppose there could be like a 0.05% chance of that happening.
Nothing much interesting in the news, but I must draw some attention to this really nifty piece of journalism: talking about my favourites for the moment, Hleb, Blatter and Ronaldo. Never thought News of the World was about such top notch commentary. I must also admit I am rather partial to the great artwork in the said article. Enjoy.
